It's always the little things

That sleep into your soul

How can I lie here still awake

Something inside of me is telling me to go

I've been waiting to tell you so

"Open your eyes."

The man's deep voice commanded so, and he sat on a chair. In front of him, a woman who was only wearing underwear sat quietly on the bed, and opened her eyes with his voice. Her eyes were as clear as water, and her eyelashes released infinite hints under the ambiguous pink light in the room.

"What did you see?"

The man was wearing a very elegant suit, and he didn't even take off his tie. He should have no idea how strange the occasion was.

"The binary code composed of orderly 1s and 0s, this product is still being initialized, and it is expected to take 10 minutes and 31 seconds to complete the initialization." The woman made the voice of a mechanical industrialized female AI, and in the reflection of her eyes, the man slightly frowned.

"Okay, so is there anything I can do now?"

The female robot continued with a blank face and said, "You can set various basic settings for this product, so you don't need to set it again after initialization."

"What can I set?"

"A minute please, I'm looking at it." The female robot's eyes rolled up eerily, and she looked like she was about to be strangled. The man turned his head subconsciously, he saw the photo frame placed in the corner of the room, and kept his eyes there.

"You can set the name, tone, character, and language."

The man's attention was drawn back, "Your... what's your factory name?"

"The factory name has different settings depending on the country where it is placed. I was designed at the Earth-Moon Lagrange Point Base No. 1 and manufactured at the Mercury No. 3 Labor Factory. Based on the fact that your current area belongs to the Kuiper belt, which is still controversial. As well as your Mandarin Chinese expression, my default name is Zhen Fu."

After thinking about it for a while, the man always felt that the name was somewhat familiar, which brought back his memory of studying a poem written by a writer who was almost three thousand years ago.

"The name of the protagonist of "Luo Shen Fu" written by Cao Zhi, a Chinese poet of the Eastern Han Dynasty," the female robot reminded him. The man nodded awkwardly, "Okay, just call it this name. I hope your character can be more lively."

"Okay dear! What do you think of this, dear!" Zhen Fu's sudden increase in the volume startled the man, "No need, no need! Don't be so lively! Be gentler and more ladylike!"

A second or two passed. "Oh, okay." The man agreed. He relaxed obviously and leaned back on the chair even more.

"Men are really boring, wanting this and wanting that." Zhen Fu said this coldly, with a look in her eyes, a kind of contempt.

The man was stunned, facing Zhen Fu with fear in his eyes. After a long time, the man regained his expression and pointed to the photo frame: "Your skills are so good, where did you get to learn her tone?"

Zhen Fu turned her head and saw the clothes that the man had prepared for her. She leaned over and picked them up and put them on.

"In the final stage of initialization, we automatically connect to the network and start intelligent learning. The IoT information of your location will provide us with the necessary interfaces."

After Zhen Fu got dressed, the only difference between her and the girl in the photo frame with the man was her hairstyle and face.

"Then can you help me analyze why she broke up."

The man buried his head in his knees, and his dull cry could be heard all over the room. A beam of light poured in through the window of the room, and the pale whiteness of the sunlight in the vacuum was restored to a relatively yellowish but still pale color through the isolation of the zenith of the base—the base followed the orbit of Neptune to the daytime side.

Zhen Fu's face was illuminated even more by this light, but her answer was extremely cold: "We can't define human emotions. Humans rely on phenylethylamine to create their heartbeat and secrete dopamine by chance, thinking that this is fate. The secretion of adrenaline can speed up your heartbeat, your body will replenish endorphins in time to make you remember the feeling of being loved, and finally the hormones in the posterior pituitary gland are added to crave intimacy, and the mixed pheromones will make you fall in love.”

"I don't understand." The man cried even louder.

“We are sophisticated instruments, and we cannot define human emotions based on Section 231 issued by the Federal Ethics Review Board. However, you can consider purchasing higher versions of androids, which can better participate in your emotional life.”

"I want to return it." The man finally raised his head, looking desperate.

"Okay, please sign this page." Zhen Fu called the interactive system in the room, and a holographic screen appeared in front of the man.

When the man signed, he heard Zhen Fu's last words before returning to the factory settings.

"The whole room is full of things you like, but what she likes is now on me."

The sun was still shining on Zhen Fu's face, but her eyes were closed and her eyelashes were drooping.

Zhen Fu's last operation before shutting down was to order a song for the man, and the song echoed in the room.
